What’s the Aftercare for a Brazilian Wax?
After your Brazilian wax, it’s important to take extra care of your skin to ensure it heals properly and stays smooth. Here’s a step-by-step guide:
Avoid Hot Showers & Baths: Right after your wax, skip steaming hot water for the next 24-48 hours. It can irritate the freshly waxed skin and expand your pores, which might lead to inflammation.
Wear Loose Clothing: Tight clothes can rub against your skin and cause irritation, so stick to loose-fitting, breathable fabrics for the first couple of days after your wax.
Stay Away from the Sun: Your skin will be more sensitive after waxing, so stay out of direct sunlight for 24-48 hours to avoid sunburn. If you must go out, apply a sunscreen with a high SPF.
Exfoliate Gently (After 48 Hours): Start exfoliating your skin about 2-3 days after your wax to help prevent ingrown hairs. Use a gentle exfoliator or a soft washcloth. Avoid scrubbing too harshly, as your skin is still sensitive.

Moisturize: Keep your skin hydrated with a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer or a bikini oil. This helps soothe the skin and keeps it soft and smooth. Aloe vera gel or a post-wax lotion can be especially helpful.
Don’t Sweat It: Avoid intense workouts, saunas, or hot tubs immediately after your waxing session. Sweating can clog your pores and increase the risk of ingrown hairs.
Avoid Touching the Area: After waxing, your skin is delicate and more prone to infection. Avoid touching the area with dirty hands, refrain from picking or scratching and NO SEXUAL ACTIVITY!!
Stay Hydrated: Drinking plenty of water helps keep your skin hydrated from the inside out, promoting healing and maintaining a healthy glow.

How much does a Brazilian Wax hurt?
It’s not that bad! Just a moment of “what am I doing here?” followed by a “ooh well,,,!”
How long does the hair need to be?
Hair needs to be the size of a grain of rice or a ¼ of an inch. If you shave we need 3 weeks of growth.
What should I do before my appointment?
Exfoliate the area gently 48hrs before, avoid caffeine before the appt and wear lose, comfy, breathable clothing.
